Mailbox Christmas Decorations

Mailbox Christmas Decorations such as magnetic covers are available off the shelf. However, with some creativity, one can use easily available items to decorate the mailbox for christmas without burning a hole in the pocket. Here are five ideas for Mailbox Christmas Decorations this year:
  1. Solar Powered Christmas Lights: If the mailbox is some distance out in the yard, setting up christmas light strings and hooking to a power outlet is a chore. Solar Powered lights are suitable for lighting up the mailbox at night. They dont need to be plugged into an outlet and they dont consume units.
  2. Fake Snow: Just spray the mailbox with fake snow and stick in a window magnet or any other ornament
  3. Mailbox Swag: Go green by wrapping a Christmas swag around your mailbox. If you want to keep it simpler, you can tape a kissing ball on top of your mailbox. You can make your own Christmas Mailbox Swag as shown in this video:
  4. Christmas Garland with Lights: The problem with green swags is they are not so visible at night. Christmas Garlands with c9 lights suitable for outdoor use can light up your mailbox.
  5. Stuffable/Inflatable Mailbox Cover: This is out of the box, but you get new designs every year.
